Three Paths to a Custom Domain

LinkHaven gives you three ways to use a custom domain — like yourname.com instead of the default LinkHaven URL. Pick the one that matches what you have today.

Buy a New Domain

You pick a name in your dashboard, pay for it, and we register it for you. Setup is fully automatic — no DNS records to configure, no other accounts to manage.

Choose this if: you don't already own the domain you want, and you'd rather not manage it elsewhere.

Import a Domain You Already Own

You keep the domain at your current registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, or wherever you bought it). LinkHaven walks you through adding two DNS records, then handles the rest.

Choose this if: you already own a domain you want to use, and you want to keep paying your registrar directly.

Share a Domain Across Creators

If a domain is already in LinkHaven and you want to add another creator under it (for example, yourdomain.com/creator-two), use the Share a Domain option instead of importing again. It's an Agency Pro feature.

Choose this if: you manage multiple creators under one brand and accept the trade-off. Sharing a domain means all its creators share one reputation — a flag on one can affect them all — so we recommend a separate domain per creator where you can. See Sharing One Domain Across Multiple Creators.

What Happens Next

After you choose an option, the dashboard walks you through it step by step. The status indicator on your domain card turns green when your domain is live and ready for visitors.
