How DeepLink Works

How Your Links Open

When fans tap your landing page URL in a social media app, they are usually browsing inside that app's built-in browser. DeepLink decides what happens when they tap one of your destination links.

Regular Links

A regular destination link goes straight to its normal web address in one tap. If the fan has that platform's app, their phone may open it.

18+ Links

When a fan taps an 18+ destination link inside Instagram, Facebook, Messenger or Threads, they're first asked to open it in their phone's browser. On the Instagram app that's one button, "Open in your browser". In the other apps they see short written steps. Then they pass the 18+ check.

On TikTok, X, Snapchat and WhatsApp, and in a regular browser, fans go straight to the 18+ check.

No Setup Required

DeepLink is automatic on all destination links across all your landing pages. Nothing to configure, no per-link fees. Included on every paid plan.

Can I turn it off? No — DeepLink is always on for every destination link.
