Instagram's Browser Logs Your Fans Out

When a fan taps the link in your bio, Instagram doesn't open it in Safari or Chrome. It opens it inside Instagram's own built-in browser. Your fan isn't logged into your fan site there, and their password isn't saved. Many close the page instead of logging in again.

TikTok, X, Threads, Facebook and Snapchat have in-app browsers too.

What DeepLink Does

When a fan taps your 18+ link inside Instagram, Facebook, Messenger or Threads, they're asked to open it in their phone's browser instead of the in-app one. On the Instagram app that's one button, "Open in your browser". In the other apps they see short written steps. Either way, the link opens in Safari, Chrome or whatever browser they normally use, where their saved logins work. Then they pass the 18+ check.

On TikTok, X, Snapchat and WhatsApp, fans go straight to the 18+ check. Regular links go straight to their normal web address everywhere.
