How to Set Up Geographic Blocking

Set Up GeoBlock in Minutes

Step 1: Open the Blocking tab

Open your landing page and go to the Blocking tab. Turn on Geographic blocking.

Step 2: Choose what to block

Block a whole country, a state or region, or a single city. To block a city, select its country, then enter the city name. Blocking a city doesn't block the rest of its country or state.

Step 3: VPN/Proxy Blocking

Optionally enable VPN and proxy detection to prevent visitors from bypassing your geo restrictions.

Step 4: Choose where blocked visitors go

Add a redirect URL to send blocked visitors to another page. If you leave it empty, they see "Page not found".

Common Use Cases

Block your home region for privacy, restrict access to countries where your content is not relevant, or focus traffic on regions that convert best.
