A/B Testing for Creators

A/B testing (split testing) shows different versions of your profile to different visitors, then measures which version converts better.

Why A/B Test Your Profile?

Small changes can have big impacts:

  • A different profile photo might increase clicks by 25%
  • Reordering your links could boost Fansly conversions
  • Changing your bio text might keep visitors longer

Without testing, you're just guessing. A/B testing gives you data.

How to Set Up A/B Tests

  1. Create variants - Set up 2-4 different versions of your profile
  2. Set traffic split - Decide what percentage of visitors see each variant
  3. Wait for data - Let the test run until you have statistical significance
  4. Pick a winner - Apply the winning variant to all visitors

What to Test

Profile Photos: Static vs. MotionAvatar, different poses, different outfits.

Bio Text: Short vs. long, different hooks, emoji usage.

Link Order: Which link should be first?

Colors/Themes: Does a darker theme convert better?

Reading Your Results

  • Conversion rate difference - At least 10% improvement to be meaningful
  • Statistical confidence - Wait for 95% confidence before deciding
  • Sample size - Need at least 100 visitors per variant
